Paciente, sexo feminino, apresentou queixa de intensa dor no estômago após final de semana com excessos na alimentação, com consumo de alimentos gordurosos (fleumáticos). Ao exame foi observada intensa dor na região de VC12, pulso escorregadio na posição média esquerda, profundo e deficiente em raizes. Língua pálida, porém com tendência violácea, com sulco central, descamada e avermelhada no centro e discretas marcas de dentes nas laterais. Ficou evidente no exame um consumo de energia Yin do estômago, confirmado pela vermelhidão no centro da língua, bem como pela dor devido à sobreposição do Yang. Esta paciente apresentava previamente um quadro de estase de Qi /Xue do Gan ( fígado) e deficiência de Yin do Shen (rim). Foram utilizados VC12, E36, IG4, IG11, E41, E42 e F8. Houve alívio imediato e total da epigastralgia, com ausência completa da dor à palpação do VC12 após a sessão. Houve melhora discreta do pulso quanto à profundidade, tornando-se levemete mais superficial. Para complemento foi utilizada auriculoterapia com os seguintes pontos: shenmen, Rim, Simpático, Estômago e Baço.
Case report: Epigastric pain (stomach pain)
Patient, female, complained of intense stomach pain after weekend of overeating, the consumption of fatty foods (phlegmatic). Examination was observed intense pain in the region of VC12, slippery pulse at the mid left, and deficient in deep roots. Pale, but with purple trend, with the central sulcus, peeling and red in the center and slight teeth marks on the sides. It was evident in examining the consumption of yin energy of the stomach, confirmed by redness in the center of the tongue, as well as the pain due to the overlap of Yang. This patient had a prior framework of stasis of Qi / Xue of Gan (liver) and deficiency of Yin Shen (kidney). Were used VC12, E36, IG4, IG11, E41, E42 and F8. There was immediate and complete relief of epigastric pain, with complete absence of pain on palpation of the VC12 after the session. There was a slight improvement of the wrist to the depth, becoming shallower levemete. To complement ear was used with the following points: Shenmen, Kidney, sympathetic, Stomach and Spleen.
